Cold Weather Workouts
Ok I feel like a complete idiot/pansy (whichever is appropriate, maybe both) but does anyone have any tips for working out in the cold weather? Yes, its only early November and I live in the Mid-atlantic so clearly it could be worse... and have I mentioned I am pansy? Too much time in the south of france perhaps.
But seriously, today I was doing 15:15 swings w/ my 24kg and I couldn't feel my hands. I have always had bad circulation in my hands too so that doesn't help. I felt like I was more winded during my 14 minutes of work than I ever was in my 40 minutes of VO2 snatching the 16kg so I wanted to take my pulse but I could not as my hands couldn't feel it.
There is no real place for me to train inside right now and I'm ok with toughing out outdoor workouts in sweatclothes, but i dont know what to do about the numbness in my hands (And to a lesser extent toes). should i try, gasp, gloves?
