It may be good advice, but it doesn't answer the question. Obviously finding a qualified teacher is the best option for everything, but it's not always available to people. This is like when someone asks a question about martial arts and people reply by saying "don't get in a fight". Drives me nuts.

To the OP, Qigong recharge is a great dvd to start with. Also, John DuCane's Bliss and Serenity programs are great. Any or all of those will do what you are looking for.
