A weight loss plan for the morbidly obese is a toughie for most pros. For the non-pro (forgive me for assuming you are in that category) it is virtually a thankless job. Expect nothing except a possible disparaging word or two (and this IS a rather broad stroke with my brush of experience).
Supervised weight loss attempts for this patient category gives us a failure rate of around 95% in the literature for sustained weight loss. There is every chance that you will initially get 10-20 kgs off their bodies, with gasps of wonder and thank-you's. It is after that that there is the barrier.
The Resting Metabolic Rate is (to make matters very simple) 10-11 calories per lb body weight (TOTAL body weight). If your nutrition plan fixes the dietary intake at this level daily, you should see weight loss happening. The problem is compliance to your plan.
Whether this plan will result in uncontrollable cravings, binge eating, falling off the wagon, or simply fail remains to be seen, but I would say that experience says that my prediction of initial weight loss followed by stalling and then regain is more likely than not.
Sorry if I come off as discouraging or pessimistic, but as I deal largely with this patient class, I know how hard it is. Bariatric surgery is also something that may be considered if things don't work out according to your plan.
Best of luck!
