Yet another blog

I think I have 500 blogs by now. On the upside I'm a novelist so I never run out of stuff to write about. For this one I think I'll just spin thoughts.
I was thinking today about how weak I used to be. I was the weakest person in any given room. It was easy to be weak as an 'artist' (graphic, music, etc.) and being that into my early 20's I weighed between 115-125 pounds at 5'8".
Fast forward to the now and I'm much stronger. I prefer it. I'm harder to kill than I used to be. I was training with a friend at Equinox and on a break we were talking to one of the membership advisors, a pretty cool cat named Nathan. He started talking about how freakishly strong I am. That sort of stuff still throws me. I never know what to say because it's so surreal.
Anyone can do this. I say it over and over, but I can tell most often people don't believe me. Maybe because they don't see the potential within themselves.
Something I learned in the Marines was that you have a lot more within you than you think you do. There are beasts waiting to be let loose within your heart that will drag your true potential into the light. In the infantry you either make it or you don't. There are no second stringers, no second class platoons. You hack it or you don't. That's when I figured out what I was made of, because I hate losing.
You should too.
