    I haven't posted in a long time. I've been all over the place, trying new things; more than worth recording.
    Currently, I'm trying Bud Jeffries' conditioning program. My young son changed everything; for the better, by the way. My conditioning routine had to adapt to the new schedule of being a dad. Bud's approach is great, since it touches on both conditioning and strength; both are improtant to me.
    I will perform press/row/swing on Tuesdays and Saturdays and pull/high pull Thursdays. ...

    So, I decided to do M,R pull days and T,F press days.
    5x5 DL or BP, plus 1 assistance exercise
    I pulled 275, but I'm not there yet; soon, I'm still getting 'back' into it. Pressed 155x1x5, 135x4x5. I'm focusing more on incorporating my lats in the pres and doing the movement right. Get ups and swings are assistance movements. Also, OH press, cleans, box jumps, etc... cycled in 2 week increments.

    Today is Day 1 of my 3 month program.
    3-1 month Cycles of DL singles, Swings, and Getups.

    I injured my right shoulder. Actually, its been an increasing pain that I thought would just go away. I plan to take 1, maybe 2, and even 3 weeks off from anything with my right arm; including TGU.

    I figured out my problem with the press. I need to keep my shoulder sucked into the socket. My right shoulder was starting to hurt, due to shrugging during the beginning of the actual press. I stepped it up a notch on Th, incorporating 2 ladders of 3 rungs. It was nice to push my limit, and I'm almost ready for high volume C/P.

    Cleans are much more fluid. I can perform about 5 cleans before my form gets sloppy. I'm a newby.
