I haven't posted in a long time. I've been all over the place, trying new things; more than worth recording.
Currently, I'm trying Bud Jeffries' conditioning program. My young son changed everything; for the better, by the way. My conditioning routine had to adapt to the new schedule of being a dad. Bud's approach is great, since it touches on both conditioning and strength; both are improtant to me.
I will perform press/row/swing on Tuesdays and Saturdays and pull/high pull Thursdays.
Starting weight:
1 Arm Side Press 75 Lb. 5x2
1 Arm Kettlebell Row 75 Lb 5x2
2 Arm Kettlebell Swing 53 Lb 5x15

Barbell Deadlift 275 Lb 5x2
1 Arm Dumbell High Pull 45 Lb 5x5

Finishing weight:
SP 125 Lb.
Row 125 Lb.
DL 405
I will wave cycle the grinds for weight only, and ballistics for exercises for reps and possibly weight. My DL took a big hit, since I'm normally pull around 300. Pressing not so much, and rowing has always been my exercise. I'll check back in a month with my progress report.
