Training Log: August 17th, 2007

Heavy day. I will be on vacation/on the move a lot during these next two weeks and will only lug the 24's around with me so I want to focus on getting as much work done with the 32's as possible. Took 1:00 rest between each set and exercise. Did each exercise 1x1, no series today.

SWINGS (clean)

32kg 6x10

Alternated one arm and double arm swings each set. I want to try and figure out a way to do double swings with the bells stacked rather than side-by-side. Increase the load yet save my knees. We'll see.


MILITARY PRESS (bench)

32kg x2 11x3

Felt good. Was thinking I may have to push press the last set or two, but I made them all strict. Good exercise.


FRONT SQUAT (squat)

32kg x2 10x5

These felt nice taking a break between each set. Gonn ahave to start tinkering with these a bit so my gains keep coming.


BENT PRESS

12kg 4x3

Getting the groove down. Almost time to move to the 16kg.


PULLUPS

Ladder style x4. Pronated: 1,2,3,4/1,2,3,3 Supinated: 1,2,3/1,2,3


EVIL WHEEL

kneeling, 5x5.


The end to a good week. Don't feel fried like last week. I like this routine so far. A little more tinkering and it'll be sweet.
