    Did the first day of the taper-cycle today. Heavy as shit. Lighter day tomorrow, then three days rest, then max out. Wrote a new OAP-program today that I'm looking forward to try out. Taking a little time off after maxing out Smolov. To be continued.

    Ok, haven't entered anything for a couple of weeks, I have still been working though.

    Just finished W 3 of Smolov intense cykle and it's brutal. The reason I haven't been entering the results in the log is because I'm so fed up and torn apart after each session that I just can't bring myself to write about it. Just yesterday I did 12 reps w/ 52 kg added wich is extreme for me. Best I ever did before Smolov was 5 singles w/ 48 kg. I have one week, the taper and the max-lift left. as ...

    Started Smolov Intense cykle. It is redicolously heavy for being in the beginning of the cycle. Done two days, went ok. I have to add a few seconds of rest between reps on the heavier sets but I don't let it bother me. I figure the starting position of a squat is much more restful than a deadhang with heavy weights anyways.

    Max is 141 kg. Weightloss is going ok. Going to roll JJ 5 days in a row this week. We'll see how it effects the Smolov weight-training. Doing monday on friday ...

    Ok, resting and doing some climbing, grappling and KBing, eager to start the next cycle but I better rest some more first.

    Decided to loose 1 more kg of weight before maxing out the next time. Shooting for 145,5 kg total @ 83 kg BW. It sounds possible after the Smolov intense cykle. That would equal a 3/4 BW W pullup and should be enough pure W PU strength. If I can get it I'll just aim to maintain it, with lower volume and start doing 1A stuff.

    Maxed out Smolov base mesocycle yesterday. BW 84,5 kg, pulled 142,5 kg in total. Lock-off was no good but I froze the movement for a second whith my chin clearly over the bar. That's a 6 kg increase in 4 first weeks.
