Something is better than nothing

I said I would post more regularly, so here's the second one in one day
The workout didn't go as well as I had hoped. What I failed to mention in my previous post is that I hadn't been laying off just because I was being smart
...I had the flu last week and it's still kicking my butt. I started off doing my wall squats, halos and pumps, with an arm bar on each side thrown in for good measure.
I knew I wasn't 100% when I was winded after just the wall squats
. When I got to the swings, I was able to make about 3 minutes before I thought I was going to fall down. I was really disappointed.
On the plus side, I gave it a go and now that I've recovered I feel way better than I did before I worked out.
Lesson: Even when things don't go as well as you hope, giving it your best can be a triumph in itself. Any progress you make is still progress. The effort is never wasted.
