Yesterday:

Light Jog
Hill Sprints
100 Pushups in the evening

Today:

3 sets of 30 Frog Jumps

Comments:

Noticing a disturbing trend: A loss of leg strength. I attribute this to too much distance running and training too often. I'm going back to infrequesnt training with one to two "sprint-like activities" per week, plus one full body and heavy weight training episode.

It may be time to take...

Yesterday:

BenchPress: 185x6, 205x4,225x3,245x2, 265x1

Deadlift: 245x5,265x5,285x3

Hanging Leg lift: 1x5

Pullups: 10

Comment:

Been under the weather for a few days. Just getting over it. Felt very strong on the bench. Did the deadlifts using sumo style, to take some of the pressure off lower back.

Hanging leg lifts were mostly for spinal decompression.

Yesterday:

Deadlift: 225x5, 245x5, 265x5
Hanging Leg Lifts: 1 set of 5, toes to bar.
One arm dumbbell swing: 55 lb db, 15 reps per arm

Comments: Deadlifts felt much easier than the other day. Didn't really want to work up a sweat as I was training in jeans and t-shirt. Plus, getting tired is not tantamount to getting strong. DB swings were a type of cool down, GPP thing.

Today:

10k "Turkey Trot" road race at Wiesbaden...

Training Log: March 24th, 2007

GTG pistols x5 w/1.5 pood kb

One arm push-up GTG 3 per side.

Again trying to vary angle of press. Working around annoying injuries. (Lower back now)

The quest is 20 rep mil presses with the two pood. I'm trying to maintain a semblance of cardio conditioning because of an upcoming physical test. Tomorrow will be an off day and then I'll have another GTG mil press day. I'm considering adding some jogging in here for cardio and it actually seems to speed...

Training Log: March 23rd, 2007

100 pushups. 50 of them were of the diamond variety. Reached 100 in two sets.

8/8/8/6 pullups on low roof edge of building. Mixed some iso holds in a top of various reps.

50 mountain climbers

Some body flow work.

This was a changeup day. Trying to maintain capillarization and minimize chances of overuse shoulder injuries by varying angles of pressing motion.
