Pttp + Abbs
Finished up the cycle. I really have improved my dead lift since dropping back. I have a slight arch in my lower back. I have my hamstrings stretched. Quarter squat depth. Shins almost vertical. What I really gained this cycle was that I found that my hips were going up before the bar was. So I really started leaning back to the point where you feel you would fall if not for the heavy object in your hand counter balancing everything. This is something I have seen mentioned on the S & C forum. You almost fall backwards butt first as opposed to just lifting the bar.
I finished up the cycle at
Deadlift- 270 x 5
Bench press ( First BP cycle ever)- 145 x 5
Also did 2 sets of full contact twists
35# Barbell + 25# x 3 ( Slower then usual)
35# Barbell + 25# x 2
And also some 24Kg swings- 1:16 min
All and all some low weights but the feeling of good form makes me so comfortable now that I am ok with going for feeling good rather then number chasing and working away from failure rather then just saying I am working away from failure.
