    Made my goal: PR today!

Did an abbreviated warm-up and dove right in! Tecnique was fine but I rarely hit those easy reps where the bells just float up. Will keep refining.

    1/8 +6/7 = 50 reps

    Total Time: 10:40

First time for me to break 11 minutes. Last set was brutal but I got it through it. Extreme sense of satisfaction but humbling at the same time. Russian kids do the same amount of reps in less time and never set the bells down. ...

    NOTES:
Entered into the gym with the best of intentions but decided to go with an active recovery session instead of a LC session. I just didn't have a PR in me today. I will make up for it tomorrow.

I think it is very important when training for competition to be flexible within a structured cycle. A bad workout can really throw a wrench in the physical and mental works and sabatoge future training sessions. Like we avoid training to failure, we should avoid training when ...

    LC Workout
GOAL: 50 reps under 13 minutes
    1/8 + 6/7
    Total Reps: 50
    Total Time: 12:40

    NOTES:
Today sucked! I had a few good workouts in a row so I guess it was just time. For me that low clean with the hips way forward saves a lot of energy. When I can nail it, I generally have a good workout. If I can't, the day is a bust as far as the groove goes. My first few sets were going too fast. It seems the harder time I have with the groove, the faster ...
