  1. End of PTTP deadlift cycle

    Oh well, today I had to abort the PTTP deadlift cycle due to the fact that I couldn't pull 495 lbs at all. Anyways, I'll test my max on Friday and see if there is any improvement in my 1RM. As for the cycle numbers, a 10 lb gain ain't too bad. I just wished it could have been more.

    I was able to put up a 120 lb TGU with my right hand. Just couldn't put it up with the left hand. Now my both shoulders are feeling a little tight (from muscle fatigue, nothing serious). Now I know why old ...

    A 120 lb TGU is not as easy as I thought. Yesterday I tried to do a 120 lb TGU and I just couldn't come out of the lunge. Adam Glass, I give you big props.

    As for my PTTP deadlift cycle, I think I will be ending my cycle this week. I pulled 490 lbs for 3 reps yesterday, and barely getting in the 3rd rep. I'll try 495 lbs today and see how it goes, if I can go for the 500 lb pull or if I have to end the cycle today

  3. PTTP progress and 100lb TGU video

    Update: Started a new PTTP side press cycle today. Last cycle, I improved from 70lbs to 75lbs for both arms. As for the deadlift, I pulled 5 reps of 485 lbs and 5 reps (more like 5 singles) of 440 lbs. Hopefully I can pull past 500 lbs in this cycle. Only time will tell.

  4. My first 100lb TGU

    While doing the PTTP program, I add a couple of supplementary exercises to my training; one being assisted pistols and for the past 4 months I've been doing TGUs. I started doing TGUs with my 35 lb kettlebell. Today, I did 2 TGUs with a 100lb dumbell. In 5 months. I'm glad

  5. PTTP progress

    I started a new PTTP deadlift cycle last week Monday. Started off with a weight of 400 lbs and up to yesterday pulled 430 lbs for 5 reps.

    Starting to reach the wall with the side press. I wasn't able to finish the side press routine yesterday with 75 lbs each side. Today, I plan to do the routine with 65 lbs each side
