SQ 225 x7 x5

Smolov recording is so easy: One drill; One weight.

Warmed up with bar-only behind-the-head presses and then 135x5. Can't believe I'm getting 225 for this many sets and reps. 225 was 92% of my max a few months ago and even a couple of weeks ago it felt heavy enough to be my 5 or 6 RM. I was really demoralized before the last couple of sets, but I psyched up and got through them. Sets 2 and 3 were the best. The last rep of the last set was slow. Form is getting better and I'm keeping the bar in place on my back. Right leg wanted to quit, however, halfway through last two sets. Really have to focus on keeping it in the movement. Glutes cramped horribly on the walk home and I had to lean against a mailbox for a few minutes.

No BP till next week, then just six sessions of 54321. Top singles sets 195, 200, 205, 210, 210, 215(?). Should be good for at least 225 at meet. Triceps much healed, but still just a teeny bit sore when I tense it against my lat.
