Warrior Diet Log

I have recently decided to try the warrior diet as an experiment. I hear about it on other forums every once in a while and I have always been curious about it. Unfortunately while there seems to be a lot of people curious and skeptical about the diet there doesn't seem to be a ton of information regarding people's results as a lot of people don't seem to follow through with their logs/blogs.

My goal with this log is to provide people with some evidence of the diet's results(or lack there of). I'm going to follow the diet as best as I can but I will have cheat moments because I do have a social life. What good is a lifetime diet that doesn't allow for a weekend bender every now and then? :D I'll log the times I deviate from the diet so people can take that into account.

I have been on the diet since Nov 16th and I will continue to follow it until Feb 16th, 3 months. I'm not going to post every day but probably once or twice a week.

My goals with this diet are:
1) Fat loss
2) More energy throughout day
3) Maintain or improve athletic performance
4) Convenience

A little about me:
I am a 27 year old college student and army reservist from the midwest. I took a PT test a month and a half ago and scored 297 but I have been a bum and gorged on junk food since then. I'm 5'9" and I don't really know my current weight but I'll find that out and post it soon.

This is an interesting article on the ramifications of diet choice that most people either aren't cognizant of or just don't consider.

Here's my (personal) beef with meat | ajc.com

It's based on the premise that, when it comes to diet, most people think or say, "What I eat is my business — it’s personal.”

Here is the crux of it, in my opinion

Quote:

Now, if someone told you that a particular corporation was trashing the air, water and soil; causing more global warming than the transportation industry; consuming massive amounts of fossil fuel; unleashing the cruelest sort of suffering on innocent and sentient beings; failing to recycle its waste; and clogging our arteries in the process, how would you react? Would you say, “Hey, that’s personal”?

Probably not. It’s more likely that you’d frame the matter as a dire political issue in need of a dire political response.

Unlike the author, I don't necessarily believe that vegetarianism is a prerequisite for political and industrial reform. I'm also unsure about his claim that livestock are sentient, though the cruelty they are treated with is irrefutable, irresponsible, and should definitely be stopped. I think the rest of the piece is pretty spot on, though, and contains some interesting facts that I wasn't aware of.

Likely that every post I just looked over had references to food quality and farming, macronutrient ratios and supplements. What can you all say about your relationship with food?

A mass of people jacked into the intangible conference room discussing eats.

What would your higher self say? Do you believe food has been a vehicle for you, or more a shackle?

Thoughts?
