    Default Timing with recovery drinks

I have a friend who says that the body is most absorbent of nutrients 30 minutes after a workout.

If this is true, what sports drinks do you recommend to replenish after a workout. Right now, I am drinking two servings of Boost following my workouts.

    Thanks

Default Boost is expensive for what you get....

Get some protein power and invest in a Bullet Blender. I wouldn't stress to much about absorption.

To restore muscle glycogen, I would say 20 minutes is ideal. For protein, you should be eating it at regular intervals throughout the day.

It is not like you shiite the bed if you are at 25 minutes or 35 minutes...

There was an article on T-nation that said the whole timing window thing was BS. Pretty interesting article.
