A personal favourite of mine is tabata snatches. Works a treat and can easily get the heart rate up over 180 in the five minutes or so. Of course 'cardio' was a poor choice of words as it can mean so many things but really unless you like marathons or high endurance work then interval training for short intense periods is your best bet. Why train for an hour, or even twenty minutes when five will do to keep you in general good nick?
