Great job with this! Informative and amusing. I don't want to know how long it took you to do this. You have captured the essence of most questions asked on this forum in a couple threads. This should not be allowed to drop. I echo my appreciation to you sir!

Nicely done!
Start looking at all the Power to the People threads--they are all basic variations of 3 questions-- Can I do PTTP with X drill instead of Y drill?, can mix PTTP with X or Y? and Can i modifiy PTTP this way or that way?

By virtue of your asking the question, the answer is no. It's early, so that's the best I can come up with.

Adding this right now.
This is in the FAQ at the end of ETK too. I forgot about that, thanks for bringing that up.

This is an awesome topic, it answers a lot of the questions I originally had. I think this should be a sticky thread.

I've used the FAQ feature but I guess
this thread puts everything out in the open all at once. Nice.
I've asked exactly 3 questions of the Party since I signed on in July '08:
First, back in July when I was just practicing swings and Turkish Get Ups: "Why am I not getting smoked during my get up sessions?" David Whitley and a couple of other RKCs answered, "Getting smoked is not the purpose of the exercise.''
Second, in September when I started the ROP, I was (still am) so brain-dead, I couldn't figure out the ladder system. faizalenu and Imrahil56 explained it very well. I don't know how many Comrades still try the ROP but I'm back on it again and perhaps a clear, concise explanation, something I fail miserably in doing, could be added to this thread.
Third, I asked about my heart rate going well above the "recommended" target rate for a guy my age during Man Makers. Atl, scors50 and others told me not to sweat it as I had no symptoms and that I was probably younger than my chronological age.
Sorry to be so long, maybe these, or at least the first two could be added to the thread. I've seen them pop up once in a while.

I would think about putting something in that refers to the "best vertical jump program" that deals with what equipment you have. For instance, if you have:
-Kettlebells: Do swings and pistols. (from Pavel himself)
-Barbells: Deads + ?Plyo? (not sure about this category)
Oh and probably refer to "best fat loss tool/program". See that one around ALOT.
Just some thoughts.

I would add VO2max and mVO2 into abbreviations with a link to the original Kenneth Jay post .
Maybe the titan challenge too.
The party line on shoes comes up a bit also.
This thread actually lives up to the MEGATHREAD status, this should be a sticky or article for newbs.

I haven't seen that many questions asked about the ladder system, but in ETK it is outlined in good detail about how to go about the ladder system if you read carefully. I will definitely add the question about how Turkish Get Ups are not meant to smoke you.
For the last one about your heart rate, everybody varies, so it's not a big deal. And if you're having an issue with symptoms or clinical signs, you would need to get checked by a physician anyways.

I don't know where the original Kenneth Jay post is, I was looking for it. I know someone had a blog post about it, and I copied it down in a Word Document, but for the actual link, I do not know where that is.

I know about Kettlebells, but I don't know what you would do with Barbells together either.
I will post the article to which I usually refer people. The vertical jump article.
As for the best fat loss tool/program, I'll update the original post.

Dr. MC Schaeffer (I believe that's the name) posted about the VO2max protocol on her blog as well as refined getup.
