Preferred movements during recovery phase?
I am currently taking a break from strenuous training after quite a long spell of hitting the weights and hitting the heavy bag almost every day (I might have overtrained). I have rested about 3 days now, and intend to take the next 3-5 days off as well. I was curious as to what you all like to do for light exercise during the recovery phase of your training, and I am open to any suggestions as to what to do. I am currently doing several of the moves in Super Joints such as the squat, various arm circles, shoulder circles, wrist rotations, and stretching. Thoughts?
Thanks in advance.

Interesting stuff...
Alas, I do not have anywhere near the money needed to get involved with Z-Health. On the bright side, I already wear Vivo Barefoot shoes every day, and I do joint mobility every day in addition to whatever else it is that I do. Sounds like it has a solid base in neuroscience, a favorite subject of mine, and I'm sure it's great stuff, but I can't afford to buy these things. (Which is why I'm trying to mooch some interesting moves off of this forum, mind you...)

Hi,
If you don't have the money for z then a dyd of Prasara yoga would be a good investment.Ifc you don't want to even go for that do a search on youtube for Scott Sonnon and orasara.
Good Luck

way to go on getting the neurological focus. but, hmm. i'm confused. can't afford what?
IF you can afford vivo's that suggests that you're not in poverty
that's premium footwear.
So it kinda sounds like these are simply choices you're making NOT to spend money on this part of your practice? Perhaps you didn't know that
Z has a 35 dollar DVD called "quick start"
that's significantly less than a kettlebell or a pair of vivo's and its value lasts a life time
don't you think you're worth it?

I considered it...
The Vivos were a Christmas gift; I did not buy them myself, and Christmas is a while away. (I also don't get much in the way of Christmas gifts anymore, being 20 years old.) They are damn pricey, though. I did notice the 35$ one, but if I'm going to do Z-Health I should like to get a complete phase, not a quasi-comprehensive introduction, and all of the others cost at least 95$. I'm not bankrupt or anything, but I don't have 100 bucks lying around. I will certainly consider putting aside some money though, it does seem intriguing.
