Default Who's going to the Philly RKC?

Did anyone else happen to see that the training location is 30 minutes from the hotel?!

    Wowsers!

My car can fit 5 more people, so if anyone needs to carpool, just let me know. I'll be at the meet and greet on thursday. I can't wait!!

Default The Pain is Nearer Than You Think...

Once properly conditioned, all RKC hopefuls will be able to run to the certification site in fifteen minutes...carrying their bells...their Team Leaders...two assistants...and lunch...for everyone.

The Russians say, "The church is near, but the road is icy; the tavern is far, but we will walk carefully."

    See you at the tavern.

Will we be running to the location, or doing walking swings?

    Mark,

You forgot to mention that they will be running barefoot but have to carry their sneakers so they don't have the advantage of less weight.

    Neghar,

There are limo companies around here that will charter busses and vans. I'd suggest you start a thread to find enough people to rent your own transport. This is a company I've used a few times. Call them for rates.

    Gary-

Maybe I should charge people to ride in my car?! I'm thinking $20/person to try and offset the cost of my RKC . Haha! Seriously though, I drive a Chrysler Pacifica, which my 3 yr old calls a "train" because it has so many seats...

I would be more than willing to take whoever needs a ride! One of you has to sit in a carseat though....

Man, I think I'm getting a better grasp on understanding "enjoy the pain" already and we haven't even picked up a bell yet! I will have a rental car and can probably take 3 additional people to the facility.... that is unless our instructors have us lift and transport the car with them in it, along with our bells and lunch. Gary, could you please make an exception on the sneakers? Looking forward to meeting everyone Thursday night and a terrific cert.

    Marc
