Finish your Rop with the 24 first.
When you can confidently finish your 5x(1,2,3,4,5), Radiant dawn is a good way to go. Use the search option on this forum and you will find the post.
There is no need to rush. You are making good progress on the RoP.

I'm no RKC, but it appears to me the press on the left is out in front of you more than when you press on the right. Just to validate I gave it a try... when pressing out in front it was definitely harder for me.

From ETK: "Visualize pushing outward with your elbow - sort of a lateral raise meets the reverse pec deck" - while keeping the forearm vertical....

little trick i did when i first started with the 32 and had similar issues. squeeze a gripper in your non lifting hand. helps to plug any leaks.

DO you have lighter bells??

You need to stack press for a couple of weeks.

Stop pressing the 32kg just let it weight some paper. Sorry

Stack bells and start pressing.

Your groove is not optimal.

I have run into this with the 40kg.

I haven't touched it for weeks. Reset stacked bells (2x16kg) and started over.

I have worked up to working sets of stacked 36kg and I my groove is much better.

I think you have slack somewhere in the trunk, maybe the glutes/quads but I can't tell from the video.

Stack two 12kg bells and do that for 3 weeks. it will improve! Why three weeks you ask. It takes 21 days to officially make something habit. Break one and create another. 3 weeks will fly by. You have run into a bad pressing habit. Your technique is flawed. Pressing heavy magnifies it. Fix the technique and press bigger bells.

OPORDER: Radiant Dawn. Move your press up one bell size in 4 weeks.

Thanks for the insight. Sadly, I think you're spot on here!

I've been told to try stack pressing before, but the lightest bell I've got is a 20kg. I have a 20kg, 2 x 24kg and a 32kg. When I save up some cash I'll buy a 12kg and a 16kg, then I'll have everything covered I think... until I need the bulldog!

So many insightful replies, cheers guys!

Default one more idea

A lot of good advice here, isn't it a wonderful thing?

I am glad you posted your video. Technology is amazing when it's used well.

Here is my new thought for you: Take 2 - 3 days off pressing. Keep your swings going, even with the 32.

Next couple weeks, when you do your Get-up (sorry, missed that the 1st time) go to your top lock-out position with your Left. Then SLOWLY pull it down in your negative press groove. Use your R hand to help if you need to. Try to make the negative last for 5 seconds. Don't do too many each day.

God Bless

p.s. I will be trying the same, bro. And I've got about 20 pounds on ya!

I was looking at your video, to me it looks like your left shoulder comes up so it's no longer packed. You might be losing the lat base. I didn't see it so much with your right shoulder.

I think in the FAQ thread there should be a link on pressing tips by Geoff Neupert. One of the things I stress when I press is having the upper are glued to the side of the body of the clean, then point the elbow down to the hip. This draws the shoulder down and engages the lat.

here is what I did to overcome the very same exact problem: the lagging left side. Do push presses with the 32 on the left side and bring it down extremely slowly with the lats.

That is it. No indignity of getting on the floor for getups, no smaller bells.
