Default Anyone buy Kraiburg bumpers from Pendlay Barbell?

I'm shopping for a pair of technique bumpers and thought this might be a good way to do it. It seems the Kraiburg SS bumper plates are the best Pendlay offers, as they meet IWF specs as far as size go. No other site I've found can offer the same at this price.

A pair of 15 lb bumpers for $99.00 shipped sounds good but how long will they last? They won't get dropped often but when they do they will eventually have some iron on them.

Kraiburg bumpers are fine and will last if you don't abuse them - they won't last nearly as long if you are planning on mixing them w. regular plates and w. heavy use, but that applies to just about any bumper.

Default That's good enough for me

I just want to see if it's worth pursuing without spending lots of money first.

It's my understanding that most gyms won't help you unless you plan to compete. We'll have to see.

    Thanks for the help.

Did you check out Rogue Fitness? Pretty good prices and include shipping some cases.

Kraiburg bumpers are great for home use. I ordered mine off of Amazon. I got my OSW
shoes from Pendalay with no problems, so I would order the plates from them no sweat.

I've gotten a lot use outta my plates, snatch, clean and press and dropped them from
shoulder level repeatedly with no problems. Had'em for over 2 years now, no sign of
needing a new set. Go for it.
