    Default New RKC Training Logs

For any of those interested, Master Somnath Sikdar (RKC, head martial arts instructor at Dragon Gym in Exton, PA) and myself are posting video training logs for anyone to follow.

Our current cycle is focused on GPP, with an easy strength based approach. However, the volume and intensity will be upped in our next cycle. This is a great, balanced program for just about anyone to follow; and has worked exceptionally well for us(noticeably so in our sports performance), so I wish to share it with all of you. Looking forward to hearing feedback, and let me know if you have any questions about the finer points of the program.

The link below is to the most recent log. Enjoy!

Nice! How much rest between exercises? as little as possible?

Actually, take as much rest as you need until you feel fresh enough for the next set. Fatigue is not necessarily your friend when practicing strength movements, focus on quality reps. We get our conditioning mostly from our sports specific/martial arts training. But, since the intensity was low for this particular workout, our rest periods were naturally quite short. Hope this helps!

Would love to eventually get my RKC II, but right now we are more concerned with our over GPP and sports performance

Here's a link to a new training log. Some challenging pressing ladders, Master Somnath Sikdar RKC managed to take down the 40kg
