Default Front Squats, Racking the barbell...Red Boar...

I put together two video's on this subject. Actually covered more than I thought when I reviewed them

So hopefully there will be some points here that help you and others. Be sure to watch both video's. The second one has a few thoughts on CC and presses.

On those front squats, you will need to get very tight at the very start of the lift and at the bottom try to get even tighter, more solid so you can drive up into the weight. Really squeeze that belt line, torso area tight and power breathe as you come up. Otherwise, if you relax at all as you come up with a heavier weight, you will fold forward enough to lose the rack and end up dumping the barbell.

    Oh, here's the video's:

I don't do barbell work, but nevertheless found that 'band wings' exercise interesting. Think I'll be trying that out this week. Looks like a good move for posture generally - a good one for a kyphotic-tending spine perhaps?

    Wooden Leg,

Let me know how it goes with the band exercise, I'm looking for input on this one.

    Red Boar,

Let me know if these video's help any!

    Thank you, comrades!

I'm still working on front squats... I've managed to do it with 140kg, very painful... Very different from PL style back squats.

You look like a tough comrade, Walter Dorel!

    Power to you!

A lot of good info in those Walter! I like the band wings idea too - I'll give those a try.
