Default Combining Convict Conditioning and Kettlebells

    Hello,

I have been practicing Convict Conditioning now for several months, and now considering putting in kettlebells into my weekly routine. I have read Enter the Kettlebell of course, and as I am doing the Veterano program from CC, that is, one of the six major progressions each day. Now I was considering involving the RKC Rite of Passage routine on top of that, but ignoring 'variety' days.

Will this be an effective way to maximize strength

    Thanks

Mixing programs is generally not good. If you're doing CC Veterano then stick with it as long as it works. If you like to incorporate kettlebells into your routine I would suggest to pick a couple of drills and practice them GTG style whenever you feel fresh.

If starting out with kb "Enter The Kettlebell" suggest starting with a break in period then the RKC Minimum. This could easily compliment CC. For example kb swings could be done on Tuesdays, bridge day, and Friday, squat day. Kb get-ups on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Or any number of other ways.

The best way to do any work out is take your time don't get in a hurry. Take it easy and enjoy the pain.
