    Default Train for a Long Jump

    Does anyone here have a routine and/or any specific exercises they could suggest to train for a Long Jump? Thanks

    I'm not a specialist but I think that plyo exercises would be beneficial for you. They are e. g.: KB snatch, swing jumps, clean and jerk, barbell snatch. Try some of them and do as many series as you can do staying fresh in your training days (five times a week should be good). Don't do more than 5 reps in set. During exercising concentrate on keeping max muscle tension and moving as fast as it is possible staying tight. You can do some running exercises (especially short-distance sprints) and variations of jumps (depth jumps, drop jumps, box jumps) too. Hope that it was helpful and I wonder what other comrades think about that.
