Question World Kettlebell Club? Any news?

Hi All... Anyone heard of WKC or World Kettlebell Club in America? There's this gentleman who's just sprung up in the fitness circles in india spreading Kettlebell awareness and highlights the fact that he has been certified by WKC USA.

Seems like he's doing seminars to expand kettlebell knowledge. Are his credentials worth a try out?

Don't know what he means by WKC in America; WKC is a multi-national organization, with various members including the AKC (American Kettlebell Club). They teach GS under the auspices of Valery Federenko.

If I was looking to get into GS, I would care a lot less about the coach's certification and a lot more about what numbers and ranking he and his students have achieved in competition.

Thanks Jason...I'll keep this in mind. I believe nowadays he's making some moolah by teaching people how to get fit.

Something I've got as a future plan. I'll at least one of his sessions to see how it goes.

There is an RKC in every surgeon (like me, as a random example).

In India, that almost certainly qualifies him as a National level coach.

Trainer most likely...highly doubt he's a coach. Though I must say Armstead looks ready for Worlds in October.

Doc/Eric.... considering the statement above...Doc and myself should start a university for training KB.

We've been doing it for more than 6-8 months now.

Imagine my surprise, this chap is organizing a KB training session. I wonder who gave him the instructor certification.

Also, did u check the video, there's a point where the host of the video suddenly loses his grip on the KB during a snatch I suppose and his form in the push press is downright sloppy
