    "One Fat Lady"

(In bingo lingo, 88 = "two fat ladies" ...44 being half of 88)

I've played with a 44k once. It was really heavy. I can think of a word that starts with "b" for it.

Metric - you should try it.
If only we could. IIRC, there was an attempt to convert us to metric in the 1970s. Gas started selling in liters but they foolishly posted a conversion chart on the pumps. Conversion is one of those thing where you just need to pick a date, convert, and then stick with it.

I have a 6 year old son and explaining some of the ridiculous units that we use brings back old frustrations at using an outdated system of measurements.

Our politicians can't even balance a budget. They certainly don't have the brain cells to convert to metric.

Don't kid yourself, our politicians can lie equally well using any system...
