You clearly didn't read my post

By different people will read books differently, do you mean not read them?

Have you ever heard the expression if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all? HMMMMM?!?

A lot of the RKCs who post here will go through times where they are far busier than usual with more clients and working more hours - obviously going to decrease the time they have for forums, etc. And as much as people will often think that the more senior guys aren't on here, they are, just posting when necessary or something REALLY valuable can be added. Even Jeff O'Connor has posted in recent memory! That's like a bigfoot siting.

I really appreciated Dave Whitley's recent posts on the swing and calorie expenditure. I know that there was some contention. But overall, I think people brought some really good information to both sides of the debate, and in the end we have some additional lab results that illustrate the effectiveness of the swing.

All good points guys. I have to admit I get tired of the 'same old' stuff but am always hoping to find something interesting when I log on.

I enjoy most the posting of videos showing new PRs, most of them are inspiring, if he can do it so can I. New info like Dave Whitleys calorie burning was great.

Some points were brought up on the functioning of the site/forum, hopefully John will see it fixed.
Best of luck in all your goals.

This struck me as odd, not what I remembered, so I looked it up last night when I got home. There it is, Chapter 2, The New RKC Program Minimum, and the chapter covers a breakdown of the get-up and swing, and sums up with a plain as day, clear as a bell, insert your favorite cliche here explanation of the Program Minimum - 2 days of 12 minutes of swings to a comfortable stop, 2 days of get-ups for 5 minutes - even has a few other nuggets in there. It is absolutely in the middle of the book, in the chapter on the program minimum. How you missed it I have no idea, it's not left until the end of the book, it is right before the chapter on the Rite of Passage.

It's posts like yours that lead many of us grizzly old veterans to say "read the book, it's in there". I'm not trying to pick on you, just pointing out that it is in fact in the right chapter, in direct contradiction to your post.

I haven't been viewing the forum as much lately due to work, but when I have looked there hasn't been as many new threads as usual.
Previous to that there seemed to be a wealth of really interesting threads, like those from Geoff Neupert and Dave Whitley, then the release of CC2 got lots of people talking. So I just figured it was the quiet after the storm

You know as I think about it more, I realize that given the percentage of folks that have dyslexia, (~20% for males, 8-13% for females) and other reading difficulties, maybe I should reconsider my earlier post regarding the questions about 'where do I start' for ETK. I haven't walked in their shoes, so maybe it's helpful for some folks to be explicitly directed to page X.
