Default Perfecting the Press set/rep scheme

I have a question for those folks out there who are doing Kenneth Jay's Perfecting the Press: What specific set/rep schemes have you adopted to meet the criteria for the four mesocycles?

I have come up with some ideas of my own, but was wondering if people have come up with something simpler. I literally had to use a spreadsheet, and do 'what-if's' to try to figure out progressions that fell within the fatigue index ranges.

Reason I ask is I am about 8 lbs away from my press goal on ROP, and should be able to hit it sometime this winter. Once I do, I'm going to switch over to Perfecting the Press, since I don't feel like the L/M/H, M/W/F of ROP will be doable for me as I advance into the heavier weights.

What I found a bit confusing here is that I didn't really know if one should recalculate the max-reps one could do with the VS weight for the diff cycles.. I didn't anyway.

iirc; I hit 14 reps with my VS bell for the max-test. I kept volume and density cycle both at 30 sets of 5 reps, just cutting time each density workout (30 seconds each workout I think I did). And for the fatigue cycle I believe I just went 21x7+1x3 reps, 18x8+1x6 reps, 16x9+1x6, 10x15. For the fatigue cycle I obviously increased the set rest. I might have been that I did 8,9,10,11. Increasing the FI each workout for sure though.

Of course I could be way mistaken with all these exact numbers.. but I just kept it all easy. No spreadsheets

    Hope this makes sense!
