Oh, and I forgot to mention, Aaron is going to have custom trophies for winners in the divisions. Also, a t-shirt is part of the registration package. Should be a good time.

It is very newb friendly! There are a couple of people who are already registered that haven't trained specific events (such as myself). Aaron is encouraging people to come out regardless of their level. He expects there will be some walk up Crossfitters as well.

Aaron has even had folks over to his place on recent weekends to try out the equipment if they have never tried it before. I stopped out in January, and all in attendance were very cordial, and willing to suggest tips/strategies to improve my lifts.

Registration includes a t-shirt, and it's best to register ASAP if you're coming so you get the right size.

@Dak Ink - and looking at your recent posts on this forum - if you've been doing gripper work, know what a Vulcan is, and have been trying stuff off the DieselCrew website, then you are probably in pretty good shape coming into this.

There are 3 skill classes for men being run as well. Elite (which requires previous qualification for), Open, and Novice. Grip sport contests are very newb friendly and a great atmosphere for learning and competition. Also they are just downright fun! If you have any questions please let me know.

Aaron put on one heck of a competition today. We had 13 competitors (would have been 14, but one came down with the stomach flu). There were some awesome PRs set, and the sponsors donated some great gifts as well.

Martin and Aaron, good job on what was surely an excellent contest! Wish I could've been there.
