So why not return them if you feel as you do?

Apparently he's just started posting on the Dragon Door forum under the name "snowlion".

    Or actually ask Coach Wade?

I tend to suspect that some of the people here who have "seen" the CC dvd are just s-disturbers, honestly.

You think Ross would be able to perform the master steps? I tend to agree with that. He's pretty strong.

I realize I'm late to the party and all, but I came across this awhile back on the OAHSPU. Scroll down until you see a post with a video of a one-arm elbow lever press. Basically, this poster claims that Paul Wade told Jim Bathurst that he was doing one-arm elbow lever press as opposed to what was pictured in the book. Allegedly, Wade thought it would be better to include a theoretical strength based move as opposed to a real, and quite technical, move. Also, allegedly, Wade was unable to do the exercise as shown in the book.

As you can see from the dates of the posts, that thread is almost 3 years old. And I was introduced to that particular tidbit of rumor by someone on this forum. And I've provided this link to this forum as well. I'm disappointed to return after a long absence to see that not only are the same people having the same argument, they've completely forgotten everything that's been learned.

As for the people wondering why Paul Wade has produced video of himself doing these exercises, I have to ask what you're level of cognitive ability is. Because, it's stated in the book, and in multiple forums, and is made obvious from the use of a model in the book, that Paul Wade does not want his face shown to the public. I'd expect that Paul Wade is not his real name, but rather a pseudonym.

Seriously, folks, this conversation is three years old. Everything's been covered from why Paul uses British terms to the rationale behind the version of the OAHSPU that's in the book. A simple Google search is extremely revealing.

I really hope the CC DVD on Handstand Push-ups will show a legit OAHSPU, although I believe that's probably very unlikely and the probable outcome is the last few progressions of the OAHSPU will change into something like an one arm elbow lever press like you mentioned.

Or perhaps they will use stunt wires

Based on the speed with which they are coming out with these DVDs, plus the fact that they might add a book or two in between said releases, and the fact that there are 4 DVDs still to do before the HS one...

I think it's safe to say that A) There will be a LOONG time before the HS one comes out and B) They are probably already getting an athlete working on it so by the time they actually film it, he'll be able to "reasonably" perform it (such as with the little "kick" that Wade advices).

The ground has been prepared. So, I don't expect to see the OAHSPU.

"This kind of prison one-armer—the one shown in the DVD—is incredibly tough, but things can be made even harder over the years by straightening the body. This is the version shown in the book. Why the difference? When the book came out, one of the major areas of feedback I got was that “the presses are too hard, too unattainable”. I took this feedback seriously and as a result I present the ten steps slightly differently in the DVDs."

It's disappointing Paul needs to "dumb down" a master step because everyone can't do it. I want to know the un-altered system that Paul Wade used himself and taught to others in prison and I want to see that it has truly been done (Paul Wade's OAP and OAHSPU).

At the rate the DVD's are coming out, I might not live long enough to see the OAHSPU on DVD

Or you could just pipe down, knuckle down and try and do it yourself. No doubt you'd get a lot of benefit from this path. Probably more than endlessly moaning about it on here.
