I have Programming the Swing, but it does not really go into depth of breaking down the swing. I believe Mastering the Swing does, but not sure if it contains programming ideas.

I do recommend Tracy Reifkind's "The Swing!" book. I felt that the section on learning the swing may reduce the learning curve for many. Plus it also has a great section on programming and progressing.

Finally, you may also want to consider a few session with an instructor, such as an RKC, if one is available in your area.

    I agree with kbsagoo.
Get a few sessions in with an RKC instructor.
A video is good but you cannot ask it questions nor can it watch you.
A video IMO can help keep you on track after you learn the basics.
I've trained a few self taught youtube students that said they had the basics down but when it came down to it they did not.

mastering the swing. However, I cannot stress enough the details you will be getting if you get to train hands-on with an RKC instructor. The finer points you will get hands-on are priceless
