    Default VWC MVO2 Boost Protocol

    Has anybody tried it? What was your experience if so? To change things up from the 36:36, I was thinking of giving this a shot later this summer.

    I am not sure of the complete protocol, but I did something like it.

    10 32kg snatches on the minute (about 20-22 seconds)
    rest for the remainder of the minute
    ==> 20 minutes

    I have only done this like 5-6 times. I did kind of hit the metabolism a little differently than the max VO2.

    I believe, IIRC correctly, that BOOST is heavier, lower work/rest ratio, and shorter in duration.

    <tongueincheek>I do 30:30 </tongueincheek>

    Interesting. I was brainstorming earlier in the week, and contemplating doing something like that. Presently I'm in the 15-16 interval range on the 36:36, and had too much else going on in my workouts to make a lot of progress on it. Once I get in that 250 snatch range, the grip *and* lungs both become bottlenecks. So I'm going to cut back a little bit on the volume of some other things (mostly pull-ups), try out this Boost at some point, and see where I go.
