    Default Squat progress

    I finished tonight's squat workout with an easy set of 5 using the same weight that I STRUGGLED to lift for a 1RM only 2 weeks ago.

    This s@#$ works.

    I did a week of full body concentrated loading followed by (right now) a relatively heavy powerlifting split where I dead/bench/squat day off and then repeat. We'll see how high my numbers climb over the next few weeks and then I'll decide if this strategy is worth recommending. I'm doing 54321 on the competition lifts and 543543 on 1 multijoint assistance exercise each workout. Last night I bailed on the assistance work because I hit a PR. Did a few pitches up the rock wall instead.
