    They're about as old as Yoga. Nothing survives 5000 years if doesn't work. Personally I like mine for mobility work in my elbows, shoulders and upper back.

    The term and the concept of "witchcraft" were invented by the inquisition and therefore are Christian constructs. Christianity IS NOT 5000 years old. It's a little under 2000.

    Practices of witchcraft/sorcery/necromancy/shamanism/superstition (or religion, for that matter) are old as the hills. My point was that the mere persistence of a practice is in no way a guarantee that it works as advertised, nothing to do with terminology.
