    Default RoP Beast

Has anyone done the RoP with the Beast (106lb) kettlebell? I mean 5x5 press it? Not sure if it's a dumb question, I just haven't heard allot about it.

I'd have to go search the posts on Youtube, but I believe Adam Glass mentioned there are people who have done high rep workouts with the beast. I currently press a 98# bell for 4x(1,2,3). I have done 5x(1,2,3) with it and will be returning to that next week. I expect that next year I will be doing ladders with the beast.

It's not a dumb question. The bigger question is what is the functional goal of doing so? It's fun, keeps me in shape, but I don't know that I'll ever be putting a palate of 100# bags of fertilizer on a shelf with one arm.

Thank you for the reply. I wonder if that would be far to much load and volume for shoulders. You have a good point about the functionality of it, it would definitely be a goal of mine eventually.

Its definitely doable especially for larger guys. You don't hear about it because most of the guys that can do it are doing other things.
