Today was my 2nd day, after a mix up on day 1 today was my light day. I used a 50lb KB for my C&P doing 3x(1), then rolled a 7 so I used my 40lb KB and banged out 90 snatches. overall I am happy and excited for friday but I believe I am going to replace off days in between (tuesday, thursday) with workouts, haven't decided on what yet though.

Another good day! Today was Day 3, Medium day. Did my C&P with the 50lb KB then rolled an 8, banged out 123 swings with a 50lb KB in 8 minutes. I am enjoying the variety and I really enjoy rolling the dice, its a nice change up from normal sets and reps. Still want to add something to my off days though.

I am also on the ROP. I love this program. I also do Enshin Karate so that is my variety days for now.

I plan to cycle back to the PM again with a heavier bell. Then back to ROP till I can press a BEAST!

Remember you have Variety Days and Off Days. For Off Days just take a walk and stretch. Do not lift on ANY Off Day. Get Pavel's "Super Joints" or "Relax into Stretch" and do that on Off Days. Recovery is SO inportant in this program (any program really). All your scheduled training days will remain good as long as you allow for enough recovery and rest. Re-read the book on your Off Days..Dennis

I agree with comrade Dennis about keeping your off days off. Sometimes RoP feels deceptively easy - light days are sometimes really light! But stick with it the way it is, comrade Pavel has designed it like that for a reason.

    Good luck.

Osu! I just started in Enshin Karate here in Charlotte, NC about 2 months ago. Training with Yuji Iwakura, 5th Degree. I'm doing the PM cycling between the 24 and 32 K bell.

    Osu!!

I train with 5th Dan Sensei Ralph Rhoads!

I have heard many good things about Sensei Yuji Iwakura.

IF you go to Sabaki Challenge maybe we can meet up!
