    Default RoP Snatches

Are you supposed to put the bell down during the time limit? Let's say I rolled a seven, does that mean I do snatches and 50 - 60% effort for seven minutes straight or do I put the bell down for rest?

Put the bell down as needed to make it the appropriate percentage of effort. I'm not quite sure how one would do a 50% effort for 7 minutes without putting the bell down - you could take a very slow pace and rest in the overhead position, but that would be the best preparation for the ROP snatch test.

Thank you Steve. That's what I thought also. I'll try the overhead position rest next week since passing the RoP snatch test is one of my goals.

Meant to say "but that [resting overhead] would _not_ be the best preparation for the ROP snatch test."

Bottom line - I'd put the bell down. Typical for the RKC snatch test, which is 5:00 in length but otherwise the same, is to do 10L+10R then put the bell down. Some people do more at first, e.g., they might do 20/20 then rest then 10/10 after that.
