    Default Dynamite Deadlift

Just saw the advertisement for this book in my email inbox this morning. It looks to be a good way to bust plateaus for lifts.

It looks like it would be Power to the People V.2 for the Deadlift. Has anyone read this one yet?

Yes, I've read it in parts. It's good, but I can't loose the feeling that the book has lost some content due to the departure of Pavel.

Pavel coauthored it according to the advert and Andy Bolton is no slouch either, having been a three time champion lifter.

Reinhardt, I like Pavel too, but he's not the end all be all. He did co-author it. That being said, I received an email today with a $10 offer for the book through Dragon Door. At $40, why not. Except there is no coupon code. As soon as I get the code, I'm getting it.

BChase, I think the discount applies automatically because they said it was a time (midnight on 7 December) before the 10 dollar discount is rescinded.

LoneRider, It got fixed about an hour after I posted. I bought it and am printing it up 20 pages at a time. Great stuff so far. I thought about buy Return of the Kettlebell and Kenneth Jay's pressing book, but figure my birthday is coming up in a couple of months, let's read this first.

BChase, glad to hear it. I just downloaded it myself just now and finding it to be a good read, ways to tweak my deadlift.

Read about 120 pages of it yesterday and implemented the tips using the wall squat, wide bench, crush grip etc. I deadlifted for the second time in 3.5 years and pulled 5 sets of 5 using an overhand grip with a little scrap on my shin. The adjustments on the squat and bench significantly helped right away.

One thing that has helped with the dead lift is all the heavy swings I've done. I pulled 275 twice for 1 rep on Thursday and I'm only 186 lbs.
