    Default Workout timing.

I've been serious about kettlebells for about two months. I've lost 25 lbs in that time and feel amazing! I want my progress to increase and really am looking to lean out more and get stronger. I follow an IF style of eating, I do 20/4. So, my question is.. Am I better off working out when I get up or should I work out right before I break fast? My primary concern right now is losing fat. I'm doing high rep program minimum 3 days a week and variety 2 or 3 days if I feel like it. Thanks experts!

Maybe this would be better in the nutrition forum?

With IF as long as you cardio train before you eat you will lose stored fat. Or you could do a 20-30 min Heavy Hands power walk in the morning - then strength train later in the day. Thats what I like to do because I allways feel stronger in the late afternoon/early evening and the early morning walks burn fat and wake me up...Dennis

Thanks! That helps. I've started working out right before I break my fast. I guess I will see how it goes Friday when I weigh in!

I prefer to work out right before I start eating but then my goal isn't fat loss. In any case, just try them both and see what works better for you.
