    Default Knee Tucks... CC Progression

Been doing Knee Tucks for probably 8 weeks now and still cannot progress. This seems to be a rather difficult first step for me. It looks like the other progressions would be easier than the Knee Tuck. Almost as if the Knee Tuck should be the step prior to hanging on the bar. Anyone else have difficulty with this first step?

What have your numbers from week to week been like? The technique needed is kinda weird, my guess is that's the problem.

I suspect that you are trying too hard to hit the numbers. Maybe too close to max effort at every training session. Drop it back some and work strictly on technique without concern for reps numbers. Keep momentum moving forward. But....you have been doing this for 8 weeks. You could go to the next step and do the knee tucks for warmups (at low reps of course). Perhaps you could then go back to knee tucks and try again...Dennis

Hey thanks, I feel like my hip flexors and lower back crap out before my abs do. I do each rep as perfectly as possible. However I only get to about 20-25 reps per set. I might go ahead and do the floor versions and then see. Thanks all, just a bit annoyed that I am progressing in all the other movements but this one.
