The ONLY book you will ever need to become a calisthenics god. The Kalvaldlo brothers have done it again with Street Workout! A coming together of many years of experience and wisdom in this masterpiece. Great as a beginner's guide thru the stages of the path to the mastery of street calisthenics and also a great reference guide for the more seasoned athletes. In any way you can't beat the price or the quality of what you are receiving with the purchase of this book.

This book is great. Bought it on release day and finished it in two evenings. I am new to calisthenics, but this book really set my goals. It made me want to go out and do one-arm pull-ups from lamp posts and muscle ups from a bar in the park.
And the best thing, it gave me all the tools I need to go do it. I recommend this book to everyone!!! My biggest thanks to Danny & Al for sharing your hard earned lessons!!

This is a very comprehensive, no-nonsense book on bodyweight training, covering strength, plyometric power, and endurance. I will admit that I am familiar with many of the moves discussed in this book, but I learned so many new details to focus on when practicing them, the ones that I can do, anyway.

I also enjoyed the sections dealing with urban gym equipment - doing flags on a street sign or Australian pull-ups on a bike rack. You can do this stuff anywhere.

All and all this is a great book. From the descriptions to the ideas on making your own gym equipment to the philosophies of both Kavadlo brothers. From know-how to perspective this is a solid read which will keep me busy for years to come.

Yes, it's true - you can lose weight and/or build muscle with either no equipment or the most immediate items around you. The Kavadlos lay it all out and make it easy to create your own program while imparting decades of training knowledge useful to novice and veteran alike. This book is the culmination of their prior works and should stand alongside Convict Conditioning as a modern classic of calisthenics training.

I have trained with weights on-and-off for over 20 years and in my less enlightened days viewed calisthenics as useful only for warming up, cooling down, or cutting a little bit of flab. About 2 years ago, I ran across one of Danny's articles on bodybuilding.com. I had at that point been suffering from nagging shoulder injuries and was told to avoid weights by my PT for 6 weeks. Feeling restless without my usual trips to the gym, I decided to give one of this Kavadlo guy's easy little bodyweight routines a try. I figured it would keep me in shape for my glorious return to the overhead press and the barbell bench press. I figured it would be a fun little diversion, a lark. I was wrong. Calisthenics, if done properly, are just as demanding and rewarding as weight training. Done the right way, and they can be even better. It all depends on what you're looking for.

I've since entirely reworked my training into a healthier and, in my opinion, more effective combination of weights and bodyweight. You do not need to "destroy" or "annihilate" your musculature to gain some size; nor must you perform spine-compressing barbell squats and deadlifts 5 days a week to grow. There's a place for more than one modality in strength training and bodybuilding.

If you want to look like Phil Heath, this is not the book for you. If you want to look like one of the Kavadlo brothers or perhaps a well-conditioned MMA fighter or boxer (i.e. a healthy guy who can hold his own) then download this book today.

I have all of Al & Danny Kavadlo's books and have been a fan since the beginning! Street Workout is my FAVORITE one yet! There is so much information packed into this book, that I know it's going to take me some time to absorb it all. The photos are amazing & inspiring! I already feel like my workout today was better because of this book.

Having taught thousands worldwide, together Al & Danny have come out with a book full of amazing calisthenics knowledge and an easy to understand approach to their fitness concepts. The information contained within these pages is intangible. You cannot put a price on it. Your fitness levels will soar to a higher level by following the progressions and programs provided. Best of all, you need nothing more than your own bodyweight! There are many great photographs in the book, making it a fun read.
