    Default Get Strong program questions

I'd like to give the Get Strong program a try but I have a couple of questions:

    When the book says
perform all exercises in sequence as written,
, that means complete all your pushups first, then do all of your chin ups, etc? It's not meant to be a circuit?

Also, my shoulder seems to benefit from scap pushups and side planks so I'd like to include them in this workout. Should that be done in the warm up or after the workout? And would that be enough extra work to have a negative impact?

Correct. It is not meant to be a circuit.

You can do them before and/or after the other exercises – whenever you think will be best for you. I don't foresee any negative impact from it.
MilkManX and Chris Hansen like this.
Our only limitations are those which we impose on ourselves.
