Despite a few decent searches, the only real prep threads for HKC that I've found are several years old. I was hoping to see what's the consensus on prep for the current HKC as I'm signed up for it in June.

I'm a working trainer, have been for years, and use KB (hardstyle) with clients on a pretty much daily basis. My boss is an RKC, and I'm planning to go for RKC myself sometime later this year.

I've been training GS style lately, mostly because it's something new and it's summer conditioning season. I'm a beat-up old firefighter with crap shoulders, and the GS work has been proving super helpful on that front as well. However, if I'm working on my HKC, I need to make sure I'm not trashing one form for another.
