    Default Grease the Groove Advice

    I want to increase my strength in bodyweight rows, using rings of course,

    is it ok to grease the groove on body weight rows and still work pushups pike handstand pushups and pullups 3x5 every other day

    or dos GTG exclude all other exercise,

    nm i found my answer GTG is for endurance 5x5x5 is for strenghth

    It's not limited to endurance. The Naked Warrior is a bodyweight strength program based on gtg for up to 5 reps.

    They say to limit gtg to two dissimilar exercises, like one arm pushups and pistols.

    Not sure about the gtg rows with pull ups in your normal workouts though since they work so many of the same muscles.

    I did 1-2-3 ladders with 3 minutes rest between sets,
    after a couple - 3 weeks I busted out 5 full rom ring pullups on my last set of the week

    So Im doing 3x3 on the ring pullups now, building up joints

    3x3 on ring rows

    negative ring dips for 5 reps x 3

    pike pushups are hard I do negatives

    Yeah I like the GTG reps up to 5 reps.
    After finishing a cycle of 1-2-3 ladders for pullups with 3 minutes rest in between I am ready to move onto the next level 2-3-4 ladders, and eventually 3-4-5

    but ai am realizing progression isnt linear, yet still i am progressing
