I just got Enter the Kettlebell on dvd. At the end Pavel says keep it simple to two movements a pull and a press. And sort of implied the snatch and the press are the best choices. I am already familiar with these movements along with goblet squats which to my understanding are viewed as a warm up. Obviously the overhead press is the best choice of press. But should I just do snatches and neglect swings and squats? I think the mechanics of the snatch are obviously similar to the swing. But I feel like its good to goblet squat for the quads as snatches and swings are so posterior chain dominant. Also I am aware of programs like simple and sinister. But aren't snatches and presses also simple and sinister?
