Default Knee pain from front squats

    Hello,

After doing pistols (slightly more reps than usual) with no problem I did a set of front squats and got a sharp pain in my left knee so I stopped right away. It feels like it's in the front right below the knee cap. I can stand and walk with no problem, it doesn't hurt unless I try to do a squat or something. This is the first time this has happened. What could cause something like that so I can watch for it and try to not do it in the future?

    Thanks.

Default Knee pain from front squats

We're you doing KB front squats ? Be sure that your knees project outward in line with your toes. In other words, don't let your knees buckle inward at all. Other than that, I don't know what the problem would be. Hope this helps.
