    Default 12 minutes of swings?

I am new to kettlebelling and recently purchased a 16 kg bell and Pavel's "Enter the Kettlebell."

My question is this: In Pavel's new RKC minimum workout, he recommends that a day be devoted to 12 minutes of swings with light jogging. Does that 12 minutes include the light jogging? Or should I be stopping the clock during the light jogging.

The reason I ask: yesterday, I tried stopping the clock during the rest periods and just timing the swings. At about 4:00 (180 swings) I could not continue.

    Am I doing this right?

    Thanks in advance.

    Default 12 minutes of swings+jogging

I belive it is 12 minutes of swings and jogging. I like doing 10 to 30 swings and jog for 100 to 400 yards/meters.

wow - 180 swings. I bet your legs were sore.

    Default 12 minutes of swings+jogging

It seems that Pavel means 30-60 seconds of swings, followed by 1-2 minutes of light jogging. Keep the clock running!

Default I more or less dance in place and shake out the lactic acid.

    My kids are quite entertained.
