  1. I'm working my way through the Smolov Squat cycle, and I'm in the phase two intense mesocycle. (I increased my one Rep Max from 315-365!) Anyways, if you happen to miss a rep; i.e. only be able to hit 4 reps for a set that calls for 5, is it better to dial down the weight a bit to make sure you make it through the set or just keep the weight the same and grind out all the reps even if you can't get them consecutively??
